Close Brothers Property Finance recruits Dinamani and Melville

Close Brothers Property Finance (CBPF) has appointed Manu Dinamani as director in its new structured finance team in London, and Iain Melville as senior business development manager for Yorkshire and the North of England.

Dinamani joins joins from investment manager Downing, where he was an investment director.

He has two decades of experience in property finance, specialising in structuring complex deals, capital raising, and sourcing and underwriting development opportunities in the build-to-rent, PBSA and co-living sectors.

He has previously held roles at Watkin Jones, Crosslane Co-living, and Phoenix London and Regional.

Meanwhile, Melville has 15 years of experience in property finance and began his career with Close Brothers in Edinburgh in 2010, before joining NatWest’s Corporate Real Estate team in Leeds in 2015, as relationship director.

Phil Hooper, chief executive of Close Brothers Property Finance, said: “Manu and Iain’s wealth of industry experience will be hugely instrumental in driving our growth, both geographically as we expand further into Northern England and laterally, as we increase our presence in the dynamic build-to-rent and PBSA sectors.”
