Change management consultancy Nine Feet Tall has relocated to new offices in Bath as its headcount reaches 50 people.

The firm has taken two offices with 22 dedicated desks in the city’s Runway East flexible workspace hub, alongside access to shared breakout areas and communal spaces.

Launched in 2004 in founder Esther McMorris’s small London flat, the business moved to Bristol the following year and then to Bath’s Queen Square in 2009.

It relocated to Northgate House on Upper Borough Walls in 2018 and has since grown significantly, meaning it had outgrown that office too.

Dave Durrant, managing partner at Nine Feet Tall, said the consultancy needed a workspace that better reflected the business as it is now, while supporting its hybrid working model and monthly all-team gatherings

“Having new offices within Runway East gives us the flexibility we need, alongside a brilliant environment for collaboration and connection,” he added.

“We have supported a number of clients with their own office moves over the years and we are excited that it is our turn to enjoy this exciting operational change now.”

Alex Salzedo, general manager at the 23,000 sq ft Runway East Bath, which opened a year ago in a Grade II-listed building on Parsonage Lane, said: “We are thrilled to officially welcome Nine Feet Tall to Runway East.

“Their team has already brought a fantastic dynamic to the space, and their presence, marked by their signature bright orange offices, is a wonderful addition to our community.”

Nine Feet Tall, named because founder Esther McMorris believed everyone deserved to feel “that little bit taller, more confident and ready to embrace change”, specialises in delivering complex change projects combining people and technology. The team also works flexibly in London and across the UK.
