Reliance Industries
Jio Platforms (JPL), a subsidiary of the company, has received the observation letter from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on the Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed for its proposed initial public offering (IPO).
HDFC Bank
Sashidhar Jagdishan has decided not to seek reappointment as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of HDFC Bank.
Accordingly, he will retire from the services of the bank effective October 26, 2026.
The Board has decided to fast-track the process for the selection and appointment of his successor well within time.
Cipla
The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has classified the inspection of Unit 3, a manufacturing facility of Cipla’s subsidiary InvaGen Pharmaceuticals Inc. in the US, as Voluntary Action Indicated.
The USFDA conducted an inspection of the said facility from July 13 to 17, 2026.
Axiscades Technologies
Axiscades Technologies will acquire up to a 90% stake in Cloud Wave Technologies, a Bengaluru-based company operating in the precision engineering and manufacturing industry, for about Rs 234 crore. The company may subsequently acquire the remaining 10% stake.
Max Estates
Max Estates has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire the entire ownership interest in promoter-owned land-holding companies that together own an approximately 84.71-acre land parcel in West Delhi. The acquisition is structured as a non-cash share-swap transaction, with the consideration to be discharged entirely through the issue of the company’s own equity shares.
The said land parcel is estimated to unlock a gross development value (GDV) of around Rs 10,000-12,000 crore over the next few years.
Avantel
The company has received a contract worth Rs 117.88 crore from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the development, installation and commissioning of a Ground Segment Hub for voice and data communication.
Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions
The Board has approved the execution of a Term Sheet with Envision Energy India for the procurement of wind turbine generators for the company’s wind power projects having an aggregate capacity of 1,550 MW.
Under the Term Sheet, the company proposes to procure 310 wind turbine generators (WTGs) of 5 MW each, along with supervision and technical support for installation and commissioning services.
Aurobindo Pharma
The United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) inspected Unit-VI, an API manufacturing facility of Aurobindo Pharma’s subsidiary Apitoria Pharma, at Anakapalli in Andhra Pradesh from August 24 to 28, 2026.
The US FDA concluded the inspection with three observations, which are procedural in nature.
NBCC
NBCC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NHPC for the execution of NHPC’s infrastructure projects across India, including residential blocks, residential and commercial infrastructure, office complexes and allied facilities, at a project management consultancy (PMC) fee of 5.5%.
Transformers and Rectifiers (India)
The company has secured a large order for the supply of generator transformers for the Nuclear Power Corporation of India’s (NPCIL) Kaiga Units 5 & 6 nuclear power project in Karnataka. The order marks the company’s first order in the nuclear power sector and has been received from Megha Engineering and Infrastructures.
Ashoka Buildcon
The company has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 602.16 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam for the supply and commissioning of an electromechanical system.
Tata Chemicals
The company’s subsidiary, Tata Chemicals North America Inc. (TCNA), has been declared the successful bidder in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings of Searles Valley Minerals Inc. (SVM), USA, for the acquisition of North American soda ash customer contracts of SVM, representing more than half a million metric tonnes of customer orders through December 2028.
These contracts are expected to generate revenues of more than $110 million over the contract period.
LIC Housing Finance
The Board has approved the appointment of Sandeep Kumar as Additional Director and Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective August 29.
Prestige Estates Projects
Prestige Estates announced the launch of a new residential development in Madhavaram, North Chennai, named Prestige Palm Court. The development is spread across 7.98 acres of land in Madhavaram, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of Rs 1,330 crore.
Mahindra and Mahindra
Mahindra announced the expansion of its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme across its entire electric-origin SUV portfolio, making it available on the BE 6 SPORTEQ, XEV 9S and XEV 9e.
Cupid
The Board has given in-principle approval for the establishment of a manufacturing venture in South Africa with a South African partner.
Ola Electric Mobility
Ola Electric has received a sanction order from the Ministry of Heavy Industries for the release of incentives amounting to Rs 95.81 crore under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for automobiles and auto components.
Indraprastha Gas
Indraprastha Gas has decided to increase the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) across Delhi-NCR by Rs 3.89 per kg, attributing the increase to the re-escalation of the West Asia crisis.
Oil India
The company’s subsidiary, OIL Green Energy, has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with four municipalities of Haryana — Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar and Ambala — for the development of integrated CBG and waste-to-energy projects across the respective clusters.
The facilities will have the capacity to scientifically process 5,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste per day and are expected to produce 70-75 tonnes per day (TPD) of compressed biogas (CBG), along with 50 MW of green power.
Knowledge Realty Trust
Blackstone entities — BREP Asia SG L&T Holding (NQ), BREP Asia SG DRPL Holding (NQ), BREP Asia II Indian Holding Co IV (NQ), and BREP Asia II Indian Holding Co VII (NQ) — will sell up to a 25.03% stake in Knowledge Realty Trust through an offer for sale (OFS) on August 31 and September 1.
The OFS comprises a base offer of a 16.69% stake, with an oversubscription option to additionally sell up to an 8.34% stake.
The floor price has been fixed at Rs 108 per unit.

Lenskart Solutions
Alpha Wave Ventures II LP and Alpha Wave Ventures sold 2.94 crore equity shares, representing 1.7% of paid-up equity, in Lenskart Solutions for Rs 1,856.8 crore at a price of Rs 630 per share. As per the shareholding pattern for June 2026, Alpha Wave Ventures held a 4.64% stake in Lenskart.
A total of 33 global and domestic investors acquired all the shares sold by Alpha Wave Ventures, including National Pension System Trust, ICICI Prudential AMC, WhiteOak Capital, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Standard Life, Morgan Stanley, Copthall Mauritius Investment, Goldman Sachs, Integrated Core Strategies (Asia), SBI MF, Societe Generale, BofA Securities, Kotak Mahindra AMC, and Kuwait Investment Authority.
Genus Power Infrastructures
GIC Group’s Chiswick Investment Pte sold 35.78 lakh shares, representing a 1.17% stake in Genus Power Infrastructures, for Rs 116.12 crore.
Aart Corporate Advisors and HSBC Mutual Fund were the buyers for all the shares sold by Chiswick at a price of Rs 324.5 per share. Aart Corporate Advisors acquired 13.86 lakh shares for Rs 45 crore, while HSBC Mutual Fund acquired 21.91 lakh shares for Rs 71.12 crore.
Chiswick Investment held a 15.11% stake in Genus Power Infrastructures as of June 2026.
Religare Enterprises
Well-known investor Ashish Dhawan acquired an additional 38 lakh shares, representing a 1.11% stake in Religare Enterprises, through two transactions for Rs 88.16 crore. The shares were bought at Rs 232 apiece.
He already held a 5.24% stake in the company as of June 2026.
Ather Energy
Promoter entity Hero MotoCorp acquired an additional 1.18 crore equity shares, representing a 3.01% stake in Ather Energy, from the Government of Singapore for Rs 1,758.24 crore.
The shares changed hands at Rs 1,480 apiece.
KSR Footwear
Alpa Wealth Creator bought 2.45 lakh shares, representing a 1.33% stake in KSR Footwear. The shares were acquired at Rs 31.28 apiece for Rs 76.66 lakh.
Ambit Investment Advisors, meanwhile, sold 1.82 lakh shares, representing a 0.99% stake, in KSR Footwear at Rs 31.43 per share. The transaction was valued at Rs 57.2 lakh.
Strides Pharma Science
Promoter Arun Kumar Pillai bought an additional 10 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.08% stake, in Strides Pharma Science for Rs 99 crore at Rs 990 per share.
SBI Life Insurance Company was the seller in the Strides Pharma block deal. The insurer held a 4.76% stake in the company as of June 2026.
