A fast-growing HR consultancy has appointed a new regional manager as it looks to expand its presence across the Midlands.
Impact HR has recruited Sheena Harris to lead its Midlands operation from the company’s Leicester office.
Harris has more than 20 years of HR experience, including around 12 years working in-house in the travel sector before moving into consultancy a decade ago.
She has since worked with SMEs across a range of industries, handling complex employment issues and managing teams of HR consultants.
In her new role, Harris will work directly with clients while supporting and developing Impact HR’s team of consultants and advisers.
She will also be responsible for helping to grow the consultancy’s Midlands operation and developing relationships with businesses across the region.
Harris holds a degree in psychology, a CIPD Level 7 Master’s in HR management and MCIPD membership. She has also completed a Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management through the Institute of Leadership and Management.
She said: “I’m joining Impact HR at a really exciting time. The business is growing quickly and there is already such a huge amount of expertise within the team, which is fantastic for our clients.
“What really appeals to me about this role is that it brings together the different parts of HR that I enjoy most. I never want to move away from working directly with clients, supporting them and adding value to their businesses, but I’m equally passionate about developing other HR professionals and helping consultants to grow in their own roles.
“For me, good HR consultancy should never feel transactional. I like to really understand how a business ticks and become an extension of its team.”
Greg Guilford, group CEO of Impact HR, said: “With more than 20 years of experience across a wide range of HR roles, Sheena brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.
“Sheena’s appointment is another important step in our continued growth and will help us strengthen our presence across the Midlands.”
