The UK-wide construction professional services DPS will cover a range of consultancy and technical services – including project management, engineering, cost consultancy, architectural design, and environmental and sustainability services.
Teams selected for the agreement will have the opportunity to work with multiple public sector clients under a flexible procurement system managed by the Crown Commercial Service.
According to the brief: ‘Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place a dynamic purchasing system for the provision of Construction Professional Services including but not limited to; project management, engineering, cost consultancy, design services, architectural services, and environmental and sustainability services.’
Headquartered in Whitehall, central London – the Cabinet Office employs more than 10,000 people and is responsible for supporting the government to deliver and implement policy and development.
The latest procurement comes just two months after the Crown Commercial Service has launched applications for its new £4.2 billion ‘Construction Professional Services 2’ framework.
Applications for inclusion on the new DPS will be evaluated based on technical and professional ability, economic and financial standing, and compliance with a range of requirements including cyber security.
The DPS will be available to all UK public sector organisations, with no exclusivity or guaranteed minimum contract value.
