Art consultancy firm Vital Commons brings New Monumental series to Sydney’s public spaces

Anyone who’s ever stopped in the street to admire a sculpture or a mural will know the feeling of awe, intrigue and wonder that Bethan Donnelly and Josephine Skinner are trying to create with their new venture, Vital Commons.

An art consultancy firm dedicated to commissioning and curating public and private art installations, Skinner and Donnelly have, in their first year in business, worked with Scape to commission the New Monumental series, which will feature new works by Reko Rennie, Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran and Monica Rani Rudhar for the $1 billion KEKI (Kensington and Kingsford) precinct in Sydney. That’s in addition to cinematic works they’ve created for Randwick City Council and projects for Judith Neilson’s Phoenix Central Park.
