PROPERTY consultancy Colliers International has been appointed by Birmingham pub company Mitchells & Butlers to manage its 1,600 strong estate.
The appointment follows a review of M&B’s current and future real estate requirements, which concluded that outsourcing to a specialist provider would deliver the most effective service to support the company going forward.
Chris Brook, head of corporate solutions at Colliers International in Birmingham, said: “We are delighted to have been selected by Mitchells & Butlers to manage their real estate portfolio across the UK.
“By combining the expertise of the corporate solutions and specialist licensed and leisure teams at Colliers International we are able to provide Mitchells & Butlers with the complete and sophisticated estate management service that this progressive organisation seeks.”
Gary John, group property director at Mitchells & Butlers, said: “We have ambitious plans for the future and we need the support of a highly professional and proactive service partner to help manage our existing diverse property portfolio.
“As the UK’s leading operator of restaurants and pubs we are committed to providing great service, quality and value for money to our customers. We recognise that Colliers International shares the same values and they will make an excellent estate management partner for Mitchells & Butlers.”
