Leeds’s new 24-acre mixed-use district, Aire Park, is set to welcome consulting and advisory firm Jacobs to 3 South Brook Street in early 2026.
Jacobs has a history of more than 150 years in the UK. It employs at least 5,000 people nationwide, providing services in advanced manufacturing, cities and places, energy, environmental, life sciences, transportation and water.
The business’ new Aire Park base will become one of its 15 core offices, supported by over 35 additional sites across the UK.
The move will relocate its Leeds team from its current Holbeck site to the new development overlooking the evolving eight-acre public park.
The company will join a roster of national and international businesses housed at South Brook Street including legal firm Devonshires, pensions provider TPT and investment platform, interactive investor.
Dan Westley, head of portfolio at Vastint UK, said: “Jacobs is a wonderful addition to the commercial hub we’re developing here at Aire Park.
“The business’s commitment to innovation and reinvention aligns perfectly with our ambitions for Aire Park and we are pleased to have the Jacobs team join our growing community.
“Once complete, Aire Park will feature over 800,000 sq ft of Grade-A offices, creating space for over 10,000 workers, with an eight-acre public park at its heart.
“It will blend the dynamism of Leeds city centre with the tranquillity of nature, and we look forward to welcoming more businesses to come and be part of the Aire Park story.”
Richard Sanderson, executive vice president at Jacobs, added: “Leeds is a key location for Jacobs, and relocating to Aire Park places our team at the centre of one of the city’s most significant regeneration projects.
“The new workspace supports flexible working and collaboration, while offering the benefits of a city centre location alongside high-quality public space.
“It’s a move that works for our people and for how we continue to serve clients across the UK.”
Once complete, the Aire Park development will span 24 acres of the city’s South Bank, delivering more than one million sq ft of commercial space and over 1,350 homes.
Savills and Colliers worked on the Jacobs deal on behalf of Vastint UK.
Toby Nield, director at Savills Leeds, added: “Aire Park had a standout year in 2025. Vastint’s bold decision to bring forward speculative office development has been rewarded; we secured close to 140,000 sq ft of new lettings and Jacobs will be a great addition to an excellent tenant line-up.
“We continue to see huge demand for Grade‑A, future‑ready office space. Businesses are making more considered, long‑term decisions about where and how they locate, with Aire Park presenting a very compelling working environment.”
