Bury estate agent to collect gifts for Christmas campaign
An estate agent in Bury is collecting presents as part of a national campaign to help disadvantaged children.
Cardwells Estate Agents on Market Street are collecting Christmas presents so every child has a present under the tree on Christmas morning this year.
The estate agent will act as a drop-off point for the Mission Christmas charity campaign in association with charity, CashForKids.
Andrew Cardwell, Cardwells’ managing director, said: “We are trying to help out in a small way by collecting Christmas presents for children who may not otherwise receive something this year.
“We are working collaboratively with this fabulous charity and are proud to provide our Bury town centre office as a drop of point if anyone would like to donate a present for a child this Christmas.
“We know this Christmas is going to be hard for lots of people, and we are trying to do a little something to help those who may need extra support this year.
“Perhaps you could consider buying one extra present this year to donate?
“It could make the world of difference to one child’s Christmas.
“We understand that times are difficult, and this is not feasible for many, but I just wanted to let you know that this charitable initiative was taking place, just in case you could help.
“We hope that everyone enjoys a wonderful Christmas time and relishes spending time with family and loved ones this year, now that the Covid restrictions have passed.”
Presents should be new and unwrapped and dropped off at Cardwells Estate Agents Bury by Monday, December 19.
Cardwells office is on Market Street in the town centre of Bury, opposite The Met Theatre and is open seven days a week.
