How many t-shirts do you have to sell to buy a $3 million apartment?
Vincent Guadagnino, a Staten Island native who rose to fame as a cast member on MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” paid $3.4 million for unit 22A at 570 Broome Street, according to public records.
The deed for the apartment is dated May 13, the same day the former Shore Store employee posted a photo of himself in an empty downtown apartment, captioned “Out here making a mockery, got my realtor out here playin monopoly.” Guadagnino appears to be hopping neighborhoods, as he posted on his Instagram Stories in late 2021 about a move to Tribeca.
Guadagnino could not be reached for comment.
The 54-unit condominium by Turkish-American developer Murat Agirnasli doesn’t appear to offer tanning services in line with the gym, tan, laundry routine made popular by the “Jersey Shore” crew. The building does, however, have a fitness center complete with a yoga studio and a private lounge that opens onto an outdoor terrace.
The deal comes after Guadagnino sold his Hollywood Hills home in September for $3.8 million less than one year after he picked up the 2,685-square-foot property, People reported. Property records reported by the New York Post showed he paid $3.5 million for the home in November 2020, and threw in an additional $15,000 to seal the deal.
Guadagnino isn’t the only one of his castmates making real estate moves.
Last year, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi sold her 4,792-square-foot New Jersey beach home for $740,000. That’s twice what she and her husband Jionni LaValle paid for it in November 2015. The home was featured in the 2016 reality show “Nicole & Jionni’s Shore Flip,” where the concept of the show involved the couple flipping a home, the two held onto it for five years.
The Seaside Heights house that served as a backdrop for four out of the show’s six seasons hit the market in 2019, available for rent at $3,000 a night for eager fans.
