The 10-episode video and audio podcast series aim to serve as a master class showcasing the fundamental processes and essential team of advisors needed to successfully purchase a commercial broadcast radio or television station.

“We are frequently contacted by entrepreneurs looking to become station owners,” Winston said in a release. “This first series of podcasts provides an education that cannot be found anywhere. We have assembled some of the leading experts in the broadcast industry to take an entrepreneur through every aspect of station acquisition. We are confident that this critical information will be a great benefit to those entrepreneurs and for anyone interested in an in-depth education about station acquisition and operations.”

This podcast series, and a second titled “Digital Sales Strategy for Commercial Broadcasters” are being funded and released thanks to General Motors’ “Road to Equity” $50 million Diverse Owned Incubator Fund. NABOB was the first recipient of the fund.
“Our second series of podcasts will educate existing station owners about how to develop and monetize their digital assets,” Winston continued. “Our experts will provide important guidance in this area… “We could not have undertaken this important educational program without the very generous support of GM.”
