AG doubles size of board of directors
Kirsty Robinson, Tom Hargreaves and Dan Metcalf have been promoted to the board at AG Project + Building Consultancy.
The three join current board members managing director Jonathan Shaw and finance director Andrew Whittle.
All three have been with AG for some time, with Hargreaves having been with the consultancy the longest. He joined in 2014 from Arcus Consulting. During his time with AG, he has worked on projects for Boohoo, The Hut Group and Lancaster City Council.
Robinson joined AG in 2016 as an office manager before working her way up to operations director.
Metcalf is the newest to AG, having joined in 2020 from Hollis. He is the head of commercial building surveying with the company.
“The commitment and dedication of Kirsty, Tom and Dan has been instrumental in making our vision and mission a reality over the past two years, despite the difficult times caused by the pandemic,” said managing director Shaw.
“They are a strong, collaborative leadership team and we believe they’re the right people in the right seats, playing to their strengths to ensure the business continues to grow as planned.
“I welcome them to the Board of AG and look forward to us working together to implement our five-year plan to make AG a national player in building and project consultancy.”
AG has nearly 40 employees operating out of offices in Preston, Manchester and Sheffield. Last year, it advised on £100m worth of property projects.
This year AG has made a series of senior hires, including Catherine Newton as the head of the housing division and Paul Westhead as the head of development. The company also launched a sustainability consultancy service this summer.
