A built environment consultancy is expanding with an office move.
Ridge and Partners is switching to 1 South Brook Street.
Bosses say its new home on Leeds’ Aire Park business hub will support a “pivotal time” in its growth journey.
The 65-staff company’s 6930sq ft base – which will oversee services including project management and mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineering support – will replace a site at the city’s Brewery Wharf.
Andrew McNaghten, head of office at Ridge and Partners in Leeds, said: “We’re thrilled to be continuing to deliver growth.
“The positive challenge this growth provides is the need to find a new home for the business in the city centre.
“Having watched the creation of Aire Park from our office windows over the last few years, it was clear it offered the type of space we were looking for.”
Leyla Ongun, commercial leasing manager at Aire Park developer Vastint UK, added: “Ridge and Partners is a wonderful addition to South Brook Street.
“We’re passionate about creating a diverse community that shares our vision for bringing business back to this historic epicentre of employment.”
Vastint UK was supported by Savills on the deal, with Sanderson Weatherall acting for Ridge and Partners.
Toby Nield, Savills Leeds director, added: “While many developers face challenges around rising build costs and a tighter funding environment, Vastint’s ambitious move to speculatively bring Grade-A office space to the heart of Leeds is yielding fantastic results.”
