Fintech and broadcast media skills consultancy moves to new Dorset HQ

A Dorset recruitment consultancy has expanded into a new head office.
Bournemouth-based Caspian One helps fintechs and clients within broadcast media to address skills shortages when delivering tech projects, including through full-time or contingent hiring.
The group, which counts public service broadcasters among its clients, has now agreed a lease at the Telephone House office building on Christchurch Road, more than double the size of its previous base on Waverley House on nearby Holdenhurst Road, which was set to be redeveloped.

Caspian One will occupy a 7,260 sq ft suite on the second floor of the five-storey Telephone House. The firm joins the building’s existing tenants, which include Reed Recruitment, recruitment firm Adecco and engineering services firm Nova Systems.
The move comes as the firm reported increased demand for its services with turnover reaching £23.7m by the end of March 2022.
Founding director Marcus Graziano said: “As we continue to grow strategically, with fintech in the UK and North America and broadcast in the UK, Europe and USA, getting the right headquarters in our hometown of Bournemouth was essential.”
Vail Williams supported Caspian One to secure the lease while Goadsby acted on behalf of the private landlord.
Bryony Solan, an associate at Vail Williams, said: “Caspian One have joined many other occupiers in what we call the ‘flight-to-quality’ as they recognised the importance of providing a high-quality working environment for their employees, which led them to leasing an office over double the size of their existing office. Telephone House fitted the client’s requirements, which included car parking spaces, transport connectivity, a convenient location close to the town and beach and air conditioning.”
