n Property consultancy GVA Donal O’Buachalla has appointed three new associate directors. Bruce Dodd and Tom Kirby will operate in the valuation department and Fergal Burkein their agency department.

n Shelbourne Development has appointed Fergus Murphy as president, international — a role that will see him lead the development firm’s projects in the United States and continental Europe.
Mr Murphy, who is chief executive of ACC Bank (a subsidiary of Rabobank International) has been a senior executive with Rabobank for 13 years and was previously head of Asia region at Rabobank International.
In his new role, Mr Murphy will lead Shelbourne’s projects in the United States, including the development of the Chicago Spire, the tallest residential building in the world.
He will also assume responsibility for all other Shelbourne projects in the United States and in the Benelux countries in Europe.

n Jacqueline Kidney joins Atisreal as surveyor in the property management department. Having joined from Wyse Estates, where she was branch manager, Jackie is an experienced property manager with considerable experience in dealing with developers, contractors and tenants.
n THE Society of Chartered Surveyors has appointed Susan Clancy as assistant education and members’ affairs officer. She was formerly service co-ordinator with Coca Cola Vendit.
n Gemma Dwyer has become an associate with architectural practice DMOD. She joined the firm in 2003.
n Howard Lowe has joined the Dun Laoghaire branch of SavilIs Hamilton Osborne King as a senior negotiator. Mr Lowe has over 12 years industry experience.
