CRISTIANO RONALDO has expanded his business portfolio by investing in Perplexity.
The AI platform is a rival of OpenAI‘s ChatGPT.
They have now partnered with Ronaldo with the superstar making public his involvement in the company.
Ronaldo has released a promotional video alongside the company on social media.
He announced his investment, saying: “Curiosity is a requirement for greatness. You win when you keep asking new questions every day.
“That’s why I am proud to announce my investment in Perplexity.
“Perplexity is powering the world’s curiosity, and together we will inspire everyone to ask more ambitious questions.

Perplexity was founded in 2022 and is an AI-powered answer engine that allows users to ask any question.
Ronaldo, 40, referenced Perplexity in a speech at an awards show in Portugal in October.

After winning the Prestige Award, he said: “What is a Prestige Award?’ Is it an end-of-career award?’ And I got a little nervous and thought: ‘It can’t be.’
“So I did a search on Perplexity, if you don’t know, look it up to see what it is, and I had a little help.”
