House-hunters were given the opportunity to look inside their potential future homes during a behind-the-scenes tour of a development in Yate.

Bellway South West invited visitors to take advantage of a ‘dusty boots’ event at Ladden Garden Village, off Clayhill Drive, where they could put on hi-vis jackets, hard hats and boots to look around homes at different stages of construction.

The housebuilder is delivering 247 new homes at the development, which will consist of 161 homes for private sale and 86 affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

Sales advisor Lucie Elvins showed visitors around the development on the day and took them to see inside a number of different houses. Mike Tate, an independent advisor from New Homes Mortgage Helpline, was on hand to discuss the latest options for prospective buyers.
