New Homes Coming Along Bath Road

Six new homes will be going up along Bath Road in Bristol Township.
At last Thursday evening’s meeting, Bristol Township Council approved the project to construct the new development in the 3000 block of Bath Road on a roughly 2-acre property surrounded by the Newportville Fire Company station, Century Avenue, and Green Avenue.
Four of the homes would have access to Bath Road and two will have driveways on Century Avenue.
An existing home at the site will remain, and a garage site might be used in the future to construct another home.
Previously, the developer said the homes are projected to be about 2,600-square-feet each.
The plans have changed since last year when they included seven proposed homes and a private street. In addition, the large spruce trees were initially expected remain, but they will now be removed.
Developer Ralph DiGuiseppe, who also serves as the president of Bristol Borough Council, said the homes will sit on lots that are about 10,000 square feet.
DiGuiseppe said he is purchasing the 2-acre site with two existing parcels and breaking them up for the project.
Bristol Township Council members thanked DiGuiseppe for bringing his project to the municipality.
“I don’t do anything unless it’s done right,” DiGuiseppe assured council members.
In other business, the council approved preliminary and final subdivision for a plan to construct two single-family homes at 715 Wyoming Avenue in the Croydon section.
