Wandsworth house prices: Average house prices fall by £2,000
House prices in Wandsworth have gone down by an average of over £2,000 in the month of May, according to figures from the Land Registry.
Wandsworth is one of the most expensive area to buy a property in the UK despite this month’s dip in prices.
The latest data from the government department reveals that in May 2022 average house prices in Wandsworth reached £641,589.
This was down from £643,872 in April, representing a 0.4 per cent decrease. In the last 12 months it has risen by 8.5 per cent.

- Terraced houses – Up to £919,364 from £917,413 in April
- Flats – Down to £533,278 from £537,415 in April
Despite the fall in prices this month, Wandsworth is still far above the UK average with a typical property value in the nations reaching £283,496 in May.
In cash terms, the average house price in May was £32,210 higher than a year earlier with house price growth accelerating to 12.8 per cent in May 2022. Prices were up by 1.2 per cent month on month.
