Manchester-based financial and management consultancy Integer Advisory has been acquired in a deal supported by equity funding from DSW Capital plc. Dow Schofield Watts Business Planning LLP (DSW BP), a DSW Capital licensee, has acquired the firm backed by a £360,000 funding package.
The deal aims to build a strengthened advisory business, combining DSW BP’s social housing and infrastructure expertise with Integer’s specialist sector knowledge and established reputation.
The enlarged business, operating as DSW Integer, will be in a strong position to support public sector organisations, amid growing demand for advisory services as government investment in housing, infrastructure and public services increases.
Shru Morris (pictured above), Chief Executive of DSW Capital, which will hold an equity interest and continue to receive licence fee income from the enlarged business, said the deal was a good demonstration of DSW BP’s diversification strategy in action.
She continued: “Integer broadens the network’s advisory capabilities and brings additional revenues from more resilient markets, as we continue to expand the Group beyond traditional M&A activity.”
Morris also said that the deal demonstrated DSW Capital’s commitment and willingness to back licensees in their growth and development strategies, calling DSW Capital “an attractive platform for ambitious professionals seeking autonomy.”
She added: “With increasing government focus on infrastructure, housing, and public sector transformation, we are confident that the enlarged business is well positioned to capitalise on attractive long-term growth opportunities.”
Ellen Little, partner at DSW Integer, formerly DSW Business Planning, said: “Combining our complementary skills and experience creates a stronger platform from which to support clients, who are facing increasingly complex strategic, financial, and delivery challenges.”
“The UK public sector is entering a period of significant investment and transformation. By bringing our teams together, we have enhanced our capacity, broadened our expertise, and strengthened our ability to deliver the personalised, partner-led advice that our clients value.”
