Stocks to Watch

Cohance Lifesciences

The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) inspected the company’s formulation (FDF) plant located in Shamshabad, Telangana, from August 27 to September 4. The inspection concluded with the issuance of a Form FDA 483 containing four observations.

Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles

Tata Motors subsidiary TML CV Holdings B.V. announced the commencement of a voluntary tender offer for all issued common shares of Iveco Group at a price of EUR 14.1 (cum dividend) per common share in cash.

The offer values Iveco Group at approximately EUR 3.82 billion.

TML CV Holdings B.V. signed a debt commitment letter with Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A., Morgan Stanley Senior Funding, and MUFG Bank for fully committed bridge financing to be used for the transaction. The tender offer will open on September 7 and remain open until October 26, 2026.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders

Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. (MSETCL) has placed a purchase order worth Rs 118 crore with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders for the supply, installation, and commissioning of an AI-based comprehensive infrasecure project for five substations.

Rail Vikas Nigam

The company has received a Letter of Award from SJVN Thermal for the construction of a permanent siding along with an aerial connection via track from the plant boundary to Chausa and Pawani Kamarpur in Buxar, Bihar, under Phase III of the 1,320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project (BTPP).

The order is valued at Rs 903 crore.

Prime Focus

The Board has approved a proposal to raise funds of up to Rs 3,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares or debt securities.

Lemon Tree Hotels

The company has signed two licence agreements — Lemon Tree Hotel and Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Bodhgaya, Bihar. Both properties will be managed by the company’s subsidiary, Carnation Hotels.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Bodhgaya, will have 75 rooms, while Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Bodhgaya, will have 70 rooms.

Jayaswal Neco Industries

In a clarification note to the stock exchanges, Jayaswal Neco Industries (JNIL) said that Datasel SRL is a subsidiary of Neco Defence Munitions.

There is no direct relationship between these companies and Jayaswal Neco Industries, except that both entities are owned by the same promoter group. JNIL does not have any transactions with Datasel SRL or Neco Defence Munitions.

Any consequences arising therefrom will not have any financial impact on JNIL, as Datasel SRL operates independently.

Lupin

Lupin has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Modafinil Tablets USP, 100 mg and 200 mg, which are bioequivalent to the reference listed drug (RLD), Provigil Tablets of Nuvo Pharmaceuticals (Ireland) DAC.

The drug is indicated to improve wakefulness in adult patients with excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), or shift work disorder (SWD).

Modafinil Tablets had estimated annual sales of $70.7 million in the US, according to IQVIA MAT data for July 2026.

Brigade Enterprises

Brigade Group has announced the launch of Brigade Barcelona in Neopolis, Hyderabad. The premium residential project spans a total land area of 4.04 acres and has an estimated revenue potential of over Rs 2,700 crore.

Nava

The company has planned a temporary shutdown of one 60 MW IPP unit out of its two 60 MW IPP units, commencing September 6, to undertake routine inspection, maintenance, and overhauling activities.

The shutdown is expected to continue for approximately 55-60 days. Accordingly, the company does not expect any material adverse impact on its business operations or overall performance due to the shutdown.

Urban Enviro Waste Management

The company has received an order worth Rs 219 crore from Akola Municipal Corporation for the door-to-door collection and transportation of municipal solid waste up to the designated processing/disposal site at Bhod for a period of five years, extendable by up to two years.

Bulk and Block Deals

Swiggy

BNP Paribas Financial Markets bought 1.78 crore shares of Swiggy for Rs 491.99 crore, while Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius I purchased 1.98 crore shares for Rs 549.01 crore. Together, the transactions represented a 1.36 percent stake in Swiggy.

The shares were purchased at Rs 276.10 apiece.

Shankara Buildpro

Ohana India Growth Fund has acquired an additional 1.64 percent stake in Shankara Buildpro for Rs 51.88 crore through two transactions.

CapitalK-owned Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) Ohana India Growth Fund bought 2 lakh shares of Shankara Buildpro at Rs 1,296.99 per share and another 2 lakh shares at Rs 1,297 per share.

The fund held a 1.6 percent stake in Shankara Buildpro as of June 2026.

Unified Data Tech Solutions

Vikas Vijaykumar Khemani, founder of Carnelian Asset Management & Advisors, sold 1.07 lakh shares from his personal holding in Unified Data Tech Solutions, representing a 0.53 percent stake, for Rs 4.17 crore at Rs 387.61 per share.

As of June 2026, Khemani held a 1.05 percent stake in Unified Data Tech Solutions.

CARE Ratings

TenCore Partners Master sold 4.26 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.41 percent stake, in CARE Ratings for Rs 73.57 crore at Rs 1,725 per share.

The sale was made out of TenCore Partners Master’s 1.56 percent stake in CARE Ratings as of June 2026.

ESDS Software Solution

Anchorage Capital Fund’s Anchorage Capital Scheme I sold 10.03 lakh shares, representing a 0.85 percent stake, in ESDS Software Solution for Rs 76.01 crore at Rs 757.44 per share.

Anchorage Capital held a 1.13 percent stake in ESDS Software Solution before the company’s shares were listed on Friday.

Priority Jewels

KIFS Enterprise has acquired 1.25 lakh shares of Priority Jewels for Rs 2.90 crore at Rs 232.30 per share. Meanwhile, Aagam Investments, an affiliate of Mumbai-based NBFC Aagam Capital, acquired 1.98 lakh shares for Rs 4.67 crore at Rs 235.92 per share.

The shares acquired by the two investors were equivalent to a combined 1.79 percent stake in Priority Jewels.

Gland Pharma

Promoter Fosun Pharma Industrial, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., sold 75.05 lakh shares, representing a 4.5 percent stake in Gland Pharma.

The shares, worth Rs 2,121.5 crore, were acquired by 11 institutional investors – Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, Axis Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential AMC, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, SBI Life Insurance Company, HDFC Standard Life Insurance, Mirae Asset Mutual Fund, Societe Generale, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance, Sundaram Mutual Fund – at Rs 2,826.6 per share.

Mirae Asset and ICICI Prudential AMC held 5.69 percent and 1.79 percent stakes in the pharmaceutical company, respectively, while Fosun Pharma’s stake stood at 51.77 percent as of June 2026.

Tata Technologies

Patrick Raymon McGoldrick, former CEO and Managing Director of Tata Technologies, sold 21 lakh shares, representing a 0.51 percent stake in Tata Technologies, for Rs 164.85 crore at Rs 785 per share.

ICICI Prudential AMC, Kotak Mahindra AMC, 360 ONE Asset Management and Carnelian Asset Management & Advisors bought the shares sold by McGoldrick.

Nexus Select Trust

Prashant Khemka’s WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund bought 74.95 lakh units of Nexus Select Trust from Blackstone-owned BREP Asia SG Forum Holding (NQ) for Rs 122.92 crore at Rs 164 per unit.
