Held on Thursday, 5 November at The Star, Sydney, the black-tie event brought together hundreds of the nation’s top property management professionals for an evening of celebration, recognition and industry pride.

With 30 winners announced across individual and group categories, the awards recognised the professionals who continue to raise the bar for service, leadership, innovation and business performance.

Launched by Real Estate Business (REB), the PMX Awards provide a dedicated national platform to celebrate the achievements of property management professionals and the contribution they make to Australia’s real estate sector.

Individual award winners included Stuart Taylor as Business Development Manager of the Year – Large Office, Nicole Withrington as Leasing Agent of the Year and Andrew Nguyen, Castellan Consulting as Coach/Mentor of the Year.

Rudra Aggarwal took home the Excellence Award, while Cunningham’s claimed the group award for Property Management Team of the Year.

REB editor Liam Garman said the awards had become increasingly important as property management emerged as a critical driver of agency growth and profitability.

“If there’s one thing we’ve learnt over the past 12 months, it’s that agencies can no longer afford to treat property management as a back-office function. High-performing property management businesses are driving growth, profitability and long-term client relationships,” Garman said.

“It’s time we recognised the property managers, business development managers, leasing agents, and leaders whose work underpins the success of Australia’s real estate industry.”

Speakers included LJ Hooker’s Cathie Crampton, NU Management’s Grant McKay, Managed co-founder Alex Whitlock, and former Red Bull Formula 1 executive Richard Hopkins, who shared insights on leadership, business growth, innovation and high-performing teams.

Finalists and winners now join a distinguished group of industry professionals recognised for their leadership, performance and commitment to excellence.
