Engineering and environmental consultancy BWB Consulting has secured a place on the Government Commercial Agency’s Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) Framework.
The appointment gives BWB access to public sector projects across the UK through one of the government’s principal procurement routes for construction and infrastructure consultancy services.
BWB has been appointed to Lot 1: General Infrastructure and Built Environment, which covers multidisciplinary technical advisory and construction professional services across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and business case development through to design, procurement and delivery.
The framework, operated by the Government Commercial Agency (GCA), formerly Crown Commercial Service, provides public sector organisations with access to pre-approved suppliers for building, infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
The appointment builds on BWB’s existing public sector portfolio, which includes work for local authorities, government departments, education providers, healthcare organisations and transport bodies.
Dave Hollingsworth, managing director at BWB Consulting, described the appointment as “a significant achievement” for the business and said it provided “a strong platform to support public sector clients all across the UK”.
Anthony Hart, head of public property at BWB Consulting, said the framework appointment would strengthen the company’s ability to support public bodies facing complex estate, infrastructure and regeneration challenges.
BWB said it had already received early enquiries following its appointment to the framework.
