Birmingham-based commercial property consultancy Johnson Fellows has appointed Paul Evans as client accountant as it continues to strengthen its property management team.

Paul joins from estates and lettings agency Oakmans, where he managed the finance function and oversaw client accounts for more than 1800 landlords and 3000 tenants.

His experience also includes responsibility for money laundering compliance and annual Safe Agent audits.

In his new role, Paul will support the financial administration of Johnson Fellows’ retail, office and industrial property portfolios on behalf of landlords, investors and property owners.

He said: “It’s fantastic to have joined the team at Johnson Fellows.

“Having started my career in accountancy back in 1988, I’ve built extensive experience in client accounting and property finance over the years and I’m looking forward to bringing this expertise to my new role and supporting the continued growth of the company.”

Paul’s appointment comes as the consultancy continues to grow its property management offering.

Established in Birmingham in 1984, Johnson Fellows provides agency, lease advisory, property management, building surveying and valuation services to clients across the commercial property sector.

Ian Starbuck, partner and head of the property management team, added: “It’s great to welcome Paul to the team.

“His impressive background in client accounting and property finance makes him a valuable addition to the team and further strengthens the high level of support and expertise we provide to our clients.”
