A Manchester property consultancy has moved into a larger headquarters as it looks to triple in size over the next three years.
Fletcher Bond, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, has taken the entire fifth floor of 61 Mosley Street after outgrowing its existing space in the same building.
The 2000sq ft office, secured on a five-year lease from GGM Properties, has capacity for up to 26 staff alongside a boardroom, meeting rooms, client reception and breakout space.
Rory Dillon, who launched Fletcher Bond in 2016 from a single room at 61 Mosley Street, said: “We have always had our headquarters at 61 Mosley Street and have enjoyed a strong relationship with GGM Properties.
“Having outgrown our previous office space and with plans to triple in size over the next three years, we needed a larger base and were happy to stay at the same location.
“The move itself went very smoothly.
“Our operations director Rob Charnock did a sterling job in masterminding the process, with great support from Cosmin.
“Our new office represents much more than a change of accommodation.
“It reflects our ongoing commitment to the three things that matter most to us – our clients, our colleagues and collaboration.
“As Fletcher Bond continues to grow, we look forward to welcoming new clients with complex restructuring and property requirements, while also looking to expand our team further.
“We see opportunities in helping lenders navigate increasingly complicated property portfolios, particularly where private credit is involved or where inexperienced borrowers have run into difficulties with high-risk or part-complete developments.”
The move follows a period of growth for the consultancy, which increased revenue by 65 per cent in its latest financial year to June 30.
Recent client wins include Roma Finance, Hampshire Trust Bank and Reward Funding, while four appointments this month have increased its workforce to ten.
The firm, which also has a London office, provides real estate services including restructuring and recovery, strategic asset management, valuations and transactions.
Cosmin Armene, property and construction solicitor at North West law firm Bermans, who advised Fletcher Bond on the lease, added: “It is great to see Fletcher Bond continuing to expand and it’s been an absolute pleasure to work with Rory and the team to facilitate and formalise their Manchester office move.
“Bermans is delighted to have supported them during this exciting period of growth for the business. We wish them every success for the future and look forward to working with them in the years ahead.”
Peter Smith, national group business manager at landlord GGM Properties, added: “We’ve always had a great working relationship with Rory, and the success Fletcher Bond has achieved over the last ten years is a great credit to him and his team.
“It’s been very pleasing to see the business flourish and, having outgrown its previous office and moved to a refurbished space, we wish everyone at Fletcher Bond well going forward.”
