Property and construction consultancy EDGE has strengthened its position in the public sector after securing a place on a major government procurement framework.
The Nottingham-based firm has been appointed to the Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) framework, giving public sector organisations across the UK direct access to its project and programme management expertise.
EDGE is one of 31 firms selected nationally for a new project management lot within the framework, which supports the procurement of professional services for major public sector construction programmes.
The appointment enables central government departments and a wide range of public bodies—including local authorities, NHS organisations, emergency services, education providers and devolved administrations—to procure EDGE’s services through a compliant route.
The four-year framework is designed to streamline procurement and accelerate the delivery of complex public sector construction projects, with a focus on quality, efficiency and value.
For EDGE, the appointment marks a significant expansion of its public sector footprint. Operating from seven regional offices across the UK, the consultancy supports organisations navigating challenges including budget pressures, estate optimisation, sustainability targets and the transition to net zero.
The latest framework win also strengthens the company’s credentials as a trusted delivery partner for public sector clients seeking specialist construction and property advice.
