The move demonstrates TCS’ ongoing investment in the UK, where it already employs more than 22,000 people across the UK and Ireland.

Adam Hall, director at Tandem Property Asset Management, said: “We are delighted to welcome Tata Consultancy Services to Lingfield Point.

“This letting reflects the strength of the scheme, the quality of the workspace, and the growing demand we continue to see from occupiers seeking well-managed, well-connected accommodation in the Tees Valley region.

“TCS adds to a thriving business community, and we look forward to supporting their growth.”

TCS’ new office supports the company’s broader UK strategy and its goal of creating 5,000 new jobs over the next three years.

The letting is part of ongoing asset management initiatives led by Tandem and landlord Frogmore, including targeted refurbishments and new amenities across the business park.

Lingfield Point, originally developed in the 1940s as the Patons and Baldwins wool factory, has since evolved into a modern business hub offering more than 1.2 million sq ft of commercial floor space.

The park now houses a mix of SMEs, large corporates, and public sector organisations.

Lingfield Point continues to attract interest from regional, national, and international occupiers looking for a strategic base in the North East.

Available office suites range from 500 sq ft to larger floor plates of up to 35,000 sq ft.

The site offers a range of amenities, including onsite parking, a café, a health and wellbeing centre, landscaped grounds, and 24-hour security.

Tata Consultancy Services, part of the Tata Group, is aiming to become the world’s largest AI-led technology services company.

TCS reported consolidated revenues of more than $30 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.
