Dubai: A property expo in the southern Indian state of Hyderabad in October this year backed by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and official property entities from the Northern Emirates of the UAE will highlight the resilience of the UAE property market, with Dubai alone recording over AED 286 billion in property sales in H12026.
In a statement announcing the rationale of its participation in the `TOI Property Grand Expo 2026,’ jointly hosted by the Times of India Group and the UAE-based Global Edge Advertisements, a DLD statement said the show will offer a platform for the department to “deepen engagement with important international markets such as India and support the development of sustainable, long-term investment relationships.”
Indians led the pack among investors in Dubai’s property market with a share of 20-22 per cent with investments of AED 30 billion upwards on an annual basis.
The expo from October 31 – November 1, at the JRC Conventions and Trade Fairs, Hyderabad, will seek to attract investments from the IT hub of Hyderabad and Telangana in general, home to an estimated over 1.2 million NRIs.
“International investors are an important part of this ecosystem, and Indian investors, in particular, have long played a significant role in the growth and diversification of Dubai’s real estate market. Their continued interest reflects the strong economic and investment ties between the UAE and India, as well as Dubai’s appeal as a destination for investment, business and long-term growth,” the statement from DLD said.
Blue-chip UAE-based property developers will be showcasing their current and pipeline projects to prospective investors at a premium expo and investment event in Hyderabad – ` seen as a fast-growing wealth hub with major investments from multinationals including Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Apple, Deloitte etc. among over 1,500 tech companies contributing over US$28.9 billion in IT exports from India.
The `TOI Property Grand Expo,’ is also positioned as a top-notch investor platform bridging UAE developers with Indian buyers including HNIs and NRIs, seeking to enhance their property investments in the UAE.

According to the organisers, the onsite presence of senior officials from government land and property entities along with a host of experts and industry stakeholders will add authority and credibility, endorsing the Property Grand Expo. All projects at the expo will come with official approvals showcased by bona fide developers with long-standing reputation in the UAE property market.
“Platforms such as the TOI Property Grand Expo can further strengthen this engagement by bringing investors together with developers and key stakeholders from across the real estate sector. They provide an opportunity for potential investors to gain a clearer understanding of Dubai’s market, explore investment opportunities, access trusted information, and engage directly with industry representatives,” DLD noted in its statement.
Senior officials from government departments will speak at an `India-UAE Real Estate Forum,’ during the event elaborating on how UAE Government continuously support property developers and ensure quality and excellence without compromise. The event will also host an array of industry stakeholders who will be at hand to discuss ownership laws, freehold vs, leasehold structures, Golden residency and other pathways, as well as banking and finance facilities.
According to DLD, these “platforms support the broader objective of strengthening investor awareness and confidence through greater access to information and a clearer understanding of Dubai’s regulatory environment and real estate ecosystem.”
