Advisory business, Perspective Financial Group, has expanded its presence in Yorkshire with the acquisition of two established regional firms.
It has bought Freedom Advice in Leeds and Mackrill Financial Management in Ripponden as part of its national growth plan.
These two businesses form a key part of Perspective’s latest acquisition phase, which has seen six financial planning firms join the group in the first quarter of 2026.
Alongside the Yorkshire firms, Perspective has also acquired Clearwater Wealth Management, Cockburn Lucas Independent Financial Consulting, Crown Wealth Management and Devonshire Wealth Management.
Collectively, these new additions bring £825m in assets under management, 12 financial planners and expand the group’s geographical reach with new offices in Ripponden, Nottingham, Shrewsbury and Central London.
Ian Wilkinson, CEO of Perspective, said: “The acquisitions of Freedom Advice LLP and Mackrill Financial Management Ltd are important milestones in our strategy to expand further across Yorkshire – a region that has always been central to our growth ambitions.
“These are well‑respected firms with deep roots in their local communities, and we are pleased to welcome their advisers, teams and clients into the Perspective family.
“Our national growth continues at pace, and 2026 has started exceptionally well from an M&A standpoint.
“With a highly experienced in‑house team of around 50 specialists supporting every step of the journey, we are well‑placed to integrate new firms while ensuring continuity and stability for clients.”
Perspective adds that further acquisitions are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
